RE: "Together, we can end GBV, child abuse—UN envoy” (The New Times, October 18).

Sustainable development is achieved when we create a conducive environment for our families and this comes when we offer our children protection from being victims of gender-based violence (GBV), generate family stability and gender equality.

Together, when we feel the urgency and concern of GBV and child abuse, ending this vice is very possible.
