Want to have some great time without going to a nightclub this weekend? Kigali Fashion Week, in partnership with Cleopatra Lounge, is organising the first ever Ballroom Night extravaganza in Kigali scheduled for Saturday.

The free-entry event will take place at Cleopatra lounge, bar and restaurant located in Kimihurura. It will showcase fashion, beauty and all types of music from traditional ballroom ballads to Latin tunes. It is expected to be an evening full of excitement and great music.

According to John Bunyeshuri, one of the organisers, the event focuses on giving people a special treat. "It is a new VIP kind of event where guests will relax, dance, eat and drink in a corporate atmosphere, it’s very different from what you find in the nightclubs,” said Bunyeshuri.

The ballroom night is set to be held every last weekend of the month. The Saturday music and fashion extravaganza will begin at 7p.m till late.
