LETTERS: Kudos to Rwanda National Police!

Kudos to the Rwanda National Police for raising the national flag high one more time. Just like myself, there are people who probably didn't know that Rwanda maintains over 1,000 police peacekeepers in five UN missions across the world, with about 820 of them organised in FPU and PSU contingents, while others are individual police officers, also known as police advisers, whose mandate include mainly mentoring and advising, among others.

Editor,

RE: "Police rotate peacekeeping contingent in CAR” (The New Times, October 11).

I am reminded that Rwandan National Police is only 16 years old (I mean the pro-people police force), and yet these tremendous achievements are for giant institutions.

Let's not take this granted. Shine Rwanda National Police.

God bless Rwanda and its able leadership.
