RE: "SC Kiyovu should tighten wheels before they come off” (The New Times, October 8).

All the formulas have been tried to no avail. Please don't call the appointment of Aloys Kanamugire "absurd”— this veteran technician remains one of the best even today.

Don't even compare him to the likes of Yves Rwasamanzi (who, by the way, was himself introduced to coaching by Kanamugire himself through the now defunct youthful club La Jeunnesse).

It's known in football that a determined, well coached squad can surprise even big names! Have we forgotten about Leicester City FC last season?
