As part of efforts to improve operations, the Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC) will soon shift its head offices to a new state-of-the-art building at Gishushu, Kimihurura in Gasabo District.
Works, at the building adjacent to Beauséjour Hotel, are in final stages of finishing and branding, and the utility body is expected to commission it by the end of this month, according to Lucien Ruterana, the commercial director at WASAC.
Speaking to The New Times in a telephone interview, Ruterana said the move is part of efforts to improve operations.
"We are optimistic that the new offices will improve the working environment and hence enhance our operations,” he said.
He added that the firm lacks adequate space to accommodate all staff at the current premises.
Besides, the offices the building has conference hall, enough parking for clients and a cafeteria, among other facilities.
