Afri-connection Nite comes to Rwanda

All roads led to Gikondo for the Afri-Connection Nite party, curtsey of Uncle Austin, Radio 10’s famous presenter. The event, which was the first of its kind in the country, was held at Passedena’s Atmosphere Club in Gikondo, a Kigali City suburb.

The extraordinary night was rocked by East Africa’s famous artistes, alongside Uganda’s hottest Rn’B female artiste, Grace Nakimera. She is famous for her single hit "Ani akumanyi”, a song which is not only famous in Uganda, but also popularly played on Rwanda’s radio stations.

The striking and self-styled teenager singer early this month won the Best Video of the Year Award during the Pearl of Africa Music Awards, held in Kampala, Uganda’s Capital City.

Cinderella Sanyu aka Cindy, a former Blu3 member, who is now going solo, Jamal also famous for his latest hit ‘Obawuwo’, a hit that has also captured Rwanda’s radio stations are expected to perform.

Uganda’s celebrated DJ Junior set the night on bliss. Some of the famous local artistes like; Zenji, Tom Close, Emino, SPC, Family Squad, and DJ Kedilah also revealed to their fans the latest tracks and strokes.

Only Africa music was played throughout the night until dawn. And the entrance fee is only Frw5000 per head.
