Dear Editor,

I would like to congratulate the health sector upon their great improvement over the last fourteen years. A few years after the 1994 Genocide, many people used to go to different neighbouring countries just to deliver their babies safely and acquire treatment.

Today, things have taken a different turn. Our hospitals and private clinics have continually gained the trust of many. We do not need to travel anywhere else to access good medical services.

However, I urge the government to construct and equip more hospitals such that medical services can reach all Rwandans. Some people still leave the villages and come to town just to get treatment from the city hospitals.
