Singer Jack B apologizes to wife
Last week, local R&B and hip hop singer Jack B, real name, Jacques Rugamba, made headlines for all the wrong reasons. It was reported in this paper that the artiste had a little too much to drink while performing at Zaga Night and threw up on stage.
Before the saga could cool down, the artiste took to social media to announce his separation from his wife and mother of two children. The singer, on Facebook and Instagram, accused his wife of abandoning him and the kids and gallivanting around town with rich men. The singer expressed distress in his wife’s alleged behaviour, saying that because he had to stay home and look after the kids while she was out partying with men, his career took a beating and concluded that it was time for him to move on.
The issue stirred a heated debate with people wondering how a public figure like himself could air his dirty laundry on social media. The singer then followed with an apology for tarnishing his wife’s name. The two have been married for one and a half years. We hope they work it out.
Dominic Nic makes a comeback
He is popular for songs like Ashimwe, Arikumwe natwe, Umubavu, Nemerewe kwinjira, and Panda juu paka juu, to name a few. But it’s been two years since gospel artiste, Dominic Nic Ashimwe, released a song.
While many have been wondering whether the artiste had completely stopped singing, news reaching our desk is that the singer might have been struggling with family related matters.
Sources say that the singer is making a comeback with a new album dubbed The Victory, inspired by what he has been going through these last two years. The album launch, slated for early 2017 will be an opportunity for the artiste to share with his fans what’s been going on.
Sauti Sol Kigali concert confirmed

However, it won’t be the same case this time round. It is now official. Come Saturday, September 17 Saut Sol will perform at Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village, best known as Camp Kigali.
The show is part of the band’s Africa tour which has seen them perform in Uganda, South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland. Word has it that the popular quartet will share the stage with local artistes Neptunez Band, Yvan Buravan, 3 Hills, S.A.M, DJ Miller, and DJ Toxxyk.
Does Huddah have a new boyfriend?
Huddah Monroe is definitely one of the most famous socialites in Kenya and also has a very strong following across borders. But ever since she got famous no one has seen any photos of the boyfriends she claimed to have.
Recently, however, a spat with Ugandan socialite, Zarinah Hassan, over the latter’s boyfriend, Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, might have inspired Huddah to finally prove that she is indeed dating someone. After the Kenyan socialite dissed Zari, calling her ‘old’ and a ‘sugar mummy’, Zari posted a picture of Diamond holding her lovingly with the caption - If a man can’t claim you in public, don’t give him time in private. To which Huddah retaliated by unveiling photos of her blushing as she snuggled with some guy. She also added a lovey dovey caption – Love is a very beautiful thing. Been guarding my heart for too long because everything I do flows from it and I’m scared of getting hurt. But I guess that is it, he got me feeling some type of way.
The catfight caused a social media stir as both socialites stepped aside and let their fans do the fighting for them. While Huddah’s camp is busy congratulating her, Zari’s followers insist it is just a stunt. Let’s wait and see.
