LETTERS: Rwanda cycling: Bring amateurs on board

RE: "Rwanda Cycling Cup: Riders set for Central Challenge race” (The New Times, September 10).
Good luck to all participants. I think that the federation should open up and invite non-active but passionate cyclists, like me, across the country.
Let us start with the women and race a shorter distance. We can emulate how it’s being done in Stockholm where interested cyclists pay a start fee – this money will be used in developing cycling in Rwanda.
Instead of a start list of 40 riders, why not 500?
