Former Rayon Sports captain Fuadi Ndayisenga has joined Ugandan side SC Villa after penning a one-year renewable deal last Wednesday.

The 26-year-old left footed player was unveiled at Villa Park on Wednesday after crossing from Kenyan side Sofapaka where he featured for two seasons. He also previously played for APR and SC Kiyovu.

SC Villa officially announced they had signed the Burundian as part of a strategy to boost their squad this season.

Ndayisenga is expected to make his debut for the Ugandan giants on Saturday against Lweza in a game expected to take place at Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku.

It remains to be seen whether the former Police FC player Sina Jerome and Ivorian Musa Balou will also pen a deal since they are training with the same club in Uganda.

Ndayisenga was instrumental in assisting Rayon Sports to clinch the Rwandan league title after edging Musanze 1-0 in a league match played at Amahoro Stadium in 2013, a win that pushed the team's tally to 7 titles since 1968.
