It’s the festive season again, and Rwanda’s showbiz is filled with a bunch of trends and big events that are keeping partygoers entertained.
In the past week, Rwandan music star The Ben and former Miss Rwanda contestant Pamella Uwicyeza confessed their love before God and families in a colorful wedding ceremony held at Eglise Vivante, Rebero and Kigali Convention Center, while Yago Pon Dat launched his highly anticipated debut album ‘Suwejo’ in a concert.

Kivumbi King, Papa Cyangwe end alleged beef and collaborate on new track
Despite all the reports that have been coming out in the past few months that Rwandan rappers Kivumbi King and Papa Cyangwe are beefing, the two musicians have dropped their first collabo that puts an end to the long-time feud.
The tension started in November 2022, when Papa Cyangwe dissed Kivumbi in a track after an online fight between the two and their fans.

Surprisingly, after a year since the two rappers started beefing, they have released their first collabo song titled 'Mubusaza' which is among the best songs to come out this month.
The decision to collaborate on a track was highly welcomed by most Rwandan music lovers who say that the rap scene needs pure love than feuds.
The Ben and Pamella tie knot in star-studded wedding
On Saturday, December 23, musician Benjamin Mugisha, widely known as The Ben and former Miss Rwanda contestant Pamella Uwicyeza confessed their love before God, families and friends in a colorful wedding ceremony held at Eglise Vivante and Kigali Convention Center.
The couple has been dating since 2019 and, two years later, The Ben proposed to the former beauty queen who didn't hesitate to say 'Yes'.
It was a colorful wedding that attracted thousands of guests from both sides who turned up in big numbers to cheer on the celebrity couple.
Celebrities like Tanzanian musician Ommy Dimpoz, local stars like Tom Close, who was The Ben's best man, Chriss Eazy, Christopher, Igor Mabano, Danny Vumbi and wife, Yvan Muziki, and Israel Mbonyi among others attended the wedding ceremony.
Yago launches maiden album in concert
On Friday, December 23, showbiz journalist and artiste Yago launched his maiden album Suwejo in a colorful concert that attracted hundreds of revelers.

The album features singles like 'Suwejo', 'Rata', 'Si Swing', 'Umuhoza', 'Yahweh', 'Original Kopy', 'Alright', 'True Love', 'Naremeye' featuring Bushali, 'My Love', and 'Vis à Vis'.
Other big musicians like Bushali, Niyo Bosco and many others also graced the show.
Israel Mbonyi’s Christmas concert sellS out 24 hours before the show
Rwandan gospel artiste Israel Mbonyi has achieved yet another milestone for Rwandan music industry as tickets to his Christmas concert slated for Monday at BK Arena sell out 24 hours before the actual show.
The renowned musician announced the development via Instagram saying that all tickets to his concert sold out.
Mbonyi becomes the first and only Rwandan artiste to sell out BK Arena twice.
