Rwanda Football Association (FERWAFA) is in talks with German Football Association (DFB) of partnership to build strong football in Rwanda from Grassroots level.
According to FERWAFA president Vincent Nzamwita, the talks of a new partnership in which DFB will be helping the development of Rwandan football.
"Since we are planning to have a firm U15, U17, U19 and inter-schools tournaments, their technical assistance in every aspect will be vital for the growth of football in the country. We believe soon we will have a pact in place to start benefiting from their technical assistance,” Nzamwita told Sunday Sport.
He added that, "We have been patiently talking with DFB to see how they can help us to develop our football from the grassroots level.”
The partnership will include rising of young talents and giving coaches training in order to improve on the Rwandan football through developing young talents.
Some of the coaches to the young players will be having seasonal trainings with in Germany coaches and later exploit them through training the local football academies.
Apart from that, Coaches from Germany will be visiting the country seasonally, to provide trainings on the development of young players.
