RE: "Rwf58 billion earmarked for Kigali urban road upgrades” (The New Times, August 30). This is a wonderful piece of news. That road from Rwandex to Prince House through Sonatubes is an absolute nightmare to maneuver through during peak hours.

I hope this extension will as well address the poorly constructed road network around the traffic lights at Rwandex—there’s always horrific chaos around that area during peak hours. Having said that, is the road from Kanogo to Rwandex not in the plans for the upgrade? It is old and looks that anytime it can be cut up.

Well done City of Kigali. When will the road works begin and which road construction firms will do the works?
