R&B singer Bruce Melodie’s new video of Turaberanye hit single has received overwhelming reception within days after its launch on Saturday.
The new video was produced by two talented local music producers Bernard Mugenzi and MaRiVa.
"We released the video over the weekend but it is fast gaining ground. I made a great decision to work with these two amazing music producers,” he said.
Within days, the song has so far garnered over 12,000 views on YouTube. The video is on the singer’s third album that will comprise eight tracks including some of his popular singles Umutwe, Ntujya Unkinisha and Turaberanye.
"Some people are now appreciating the songs. I wasn't expecting such a response," says the singer, whose real name is Bruce Itahiwacu.
Bruce, who rose to fame with his song, Telefone, says that after finalizing with his third album, he will be performing in different parts of the country as a way of promoting his music and to reach out to his fans.
"This is so encouraging and I am going to be touring the country, meeting my fans and also giving them an opportunity to have one-on-one chats with their artiste," he said.
Earlier, he had also released a single called, Umutwe, which he produced from his own record label Igitanganza Music.
The singer recently participated in the prestigious annual Primus Guma Guma Superstar Season 6 competition, where he emerged 2nd runner-up and won Rwf7 million cash prize.
The 24-year-old started his career in 2010 and has worked with several artistes including Jay Polly, Ama-G the Black, JAY C, and Jamal and Fille both from Uganda.
