The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Cameroonian referees to handle 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Day 6 Group H qualifier between Rwanda and Ghana set for September 3 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The quartet will be led by Antoine Max Depadoux Effa Essouma as the center referee. Yanoussa Moussa and Thierry Bruno Tocke are the first and second assistant referees respectively while Mal Souley Mohamadou is the fourth official. Bertrand Kabore from Burkina Faso is the match commissioner.

Amavubi will be under the guidance of interim coach Gilbert ‘Yaoundé’ Kanyakole, following the sacking of Johnny McKinstry on Thursday. The team is scheduled to start preparations for the final Group H match on Monday.

Rwanda’s hopes of qualifying for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations suffered a huge blow following a 3-2 loss to the Mambas of Mozambique in Kigali in June.

Despite Rwanda retaining second spot in the group (with 6 points), the result effectively ended their chance of qualifying for 2017 AFCON finals tournament, among the second-best ranked teams.
