Kigali cricket club ready to crash Telugu in T20 semi-final

Kigali Cricket Club president Hussein Mukiri is confident his team will defeat Telugu Royals CC when they meet in the second semi-final of the 2016 Computer Point T20 tournament on Sunday at Kicukiro cricket ground.

Kigali Cricket Club president Hussein Mukiri is confident his team will defeat Telugu Royals CC when they meet in the second semi-final of the 2016 Computer Point T20 tournament on Sunday at Kicukiro cricket ground.

KCC qualified for the last four as Group A winner after winning all their four group matches. They beat Kerala Hunters, RCA development team, Kigali Warriors and Right Guards.

They will face Telugu Royals, who defeated among others, the defending champions Challengers CC on their way to the semi-finals as first runners-up in Group B, behind RCA development team. Among other teams they played against in Pool B include; Indorwa, and Impala Titans.

"Kigali Cricket club is a very big club with big history in Rwandan cricket, having been the first club to be formed, so I believe we shall overcome Telugu and qualify for the final,” Mukiri told Sunday Sport.
