RRA claim V-ball league title, turn focus to Carre d'As tournament

After winning the national women’s volleyball league title unbeaten, Rwanda Revenue Authority have turned their focus on winning the Carre d’As tournament, which will be played over the weekend at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

After winning the national women’s volleyball league title unbeaten, Rwanda Revenue Authority have turned their focus on winning the Carre d’As tournament, which will be played over the weekend at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

RRA beat Ruhango 3-1 and St Alloys 3-2 before overcoming closest challengers APR 3-1 on Saturday at Cercle de Sportif courts. Elsewhere, APR beat St Alloys 3-1 and Ruhango 3-0 before St Alloys won 3-0 over Ruhango High School.

"We are excited to go the whole season unbeaten for the year in a row, but now we have to quickly turn attention to Carre d’As, we only have a few days to prepare,” RRA coach Jean de Dieu Masumbuko said.

RRA finished the league season with 53 points, ten ahead of APR in second place, St Alloys de Rwamagana are third with 38 points while Ruhango High School finished fourth with 24 points..
