Ten artistes competed in the sixth edition of the prestigious singing competition, which involved months of road shows across the country.
One artiste will walk home with the coveted Rwf24 million cash prize. The 10 finalists are Danny Vumbi, Danny Nanone, Gabby Umutare, Allioni, Urban Boys, Young Grace, Christopher, TBB, Bruce Melodie and Jules Sentore.
Yesterday the artistes and their fans were making last-minute frantic efforts to urge friends and members of the public to vote for them, some sending mass messages through mobile phones, while others were actively looking for votes through various social media platforms.
