Children have to know and understand well their rights. As children, knowing your rights helps you to report cases of violence.

A child who knows his or her rights cannot easily be taken advantage of or violated, because he or she can report such attempts to their parents or leaders.

Children you have a number of rights and some of them are; access to education, good health, the right to be treated as children and the rights to play.

Another important thing is the right to choose good friends. If you have friends who are not well behaved and do wrong things, it is your right to stop hanging around with them.

Keeping wrong friends will lead anyone to do wrong. As the saying goes, "Birds of the feathers flock together.”

Now that its holiday time, it is good that you visit your friends. However, do not forget to let your parents know where you are going.

Getting the permission of your parents or guardians is good, because they can know if you will be safe with the people, you are going to visit or not.
