Famous duo, 'Vestine and Dorcas', who are among Rwanda's leading gospel musicians, left today for Bujumbura, Burundi, to perform at a mega concert scheduled for December 23.
The duo left with their manager and renowned showbiz journalist, Irene Murindahabi, who is the brains behind the MIE record label that is best known for nurturing young talents in Rwanda to stardom.
Before the duo left Kigali, Murindahabi told local media that his girls are ready to deliver an energetic performance and show Burundians what they have during the much-anticipated event, which is their first performance outside Rwanda.
"We are ready to bring joy to Burundi, I think it is the first time we are going to perform outside Rwanda, but there is no difficulty, our music is already flying to places. Gospel music lovers in Bujumbura shouldn't miss this once in a lifetime experience,” the manager said.
