Once upon a time, in a forest far away, a hare lived.  One day this hare became very hungry but there was nothing to eat. Therefore, he decided to go deep into the forest to hunt for something to eat. As he went to the forest, he met Hyena.

They greeted each other and at that moment, Hare told Hyena about his plan of going to the forest to hunt. Hare knew that Hyena was so greedy, so he easily convinced him to go along on his hunting trip.

Hyena agreed and they both went deep into the forest where they could easily hunt for food. They walked for so long but they found nothing.

Hare was getting hungrier each minute and second. Since Hare was so cunning, he cooked up a plan in his head and thought of the easiest way to catch food.

He looked around and the only animal in his sight was Hyena, whose mouth was drooling with saliva because he was so greedy. When they reached an abandoned hill, Hare decided to put his plan into action.

He told Hyena that he was going uphill to send down a lot of food and since it was so heavy, he had to roll it downhill and told Hyena that his only job was to catch the food so that no other animal could eat it.

He told Hyena that if he heard something light rolling downhill, he should leave it to continue its way, but if he heard something heavy rolling down hill, he should catch it.

Mr. Hare went up the hill and sent a light stone, and hyena ignored it. A few minutes a very heavy stone came rolling down.

When Hyena heard the sound of it, he foolishly followed Hare’s instructions and caught it. The stone crashed Hyena and the cunning Mr. Hare came downhill to find his hunted food ready to take home for roasting.
