Editor,
RE: "Restaurants need to be creative and improve food presentation” (The New Times, August 2).
The title of your article should have been: Restaurants need to train their staff to the international level. It is not only the presentation that seems to be lacking but also the food quality and variation as mentioned by the Cameroon delegate.
However, I am surprised to get such a comment from an African. Even if that delegate was born and raised in an affluent family in Abuja, there is no way he should have complained about food presentation he never saw in his life except in few instances he dined in Europe.
Why do some Africans pretend to be more European than the Europeans themselves, even when they have never set their feet there?
