Bralirwa gained marginally during yesterday’s trading session, gaining Rwf1, up from Rwf154 on Monday, the Rwanda Stock Exchange daily report indicates. The counter dropped by Rwf12 on Monday to close at Rwf154 compared to Friday’s close of Rwf166. 

The beverages firm recorded a total turnover of Rwf59 million from 383,300 shares traded in two deals. Crystal Telecom closed at Rwf70, unchanged from Monday’s session. The counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf7.2 million from 102,600 shares traded in one deal. 

The Rwanda Share Index went up by 0.38 points to close at 135.43 points, while the All Share Index gained 0.05 points and closed at 129.19 points. The Bond market recorded a total turnover of Rwf3.2 million from Rwf3 million worth of bonds in one deal.

The other equities counters did not trade. Bank of Kigali closed at Rwf275, Equity Bank was at Rwf334 and NMG at Rwf1,200, while KCB was at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets at Rwf104. At the end of the formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 358,300 shares at the Bank of Kigali counter between Rwf275-Rwf280 and no bids.

On Bralirwa counter, there were offers of 30,600 shares at Rwf166-Rwf169, while Crystal Telecom had an outstanding offer of 8,400 shares at Rwf76 and bids for 244,300 shares between Rwf65-Rwf70.
