Kirehe FC will take on Etoile de l’Est while Pepiniere will face-off with Interforce in the second division league semi-final, with the first leg matches set to be played on July 31 while the second leg ties are fixed for August 3.
Kirehe qualified to the last four on a 4-4 goals aggregate, after a 3-all draw against hosts Vision FC at Stade Mumena in Nyamirambo—Kirehe progressed on an away goal rule following the 1-all draw in the first leg on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Pepiniere edged Sorwathe FC 3-0 at Muhanga Regional Stadium to qualify 5-1 on aggregate while Interforce defeated Vision JN 1-0 at Umuganda Stadium to qualify 3-1 on aggregate.
Elsewhere, Etoile de l’Est played a goalless draw against United Stars in Ngoma to qualify on the away goal rule following their 1–all draw in the first leg.
The final will be played on August 7 and finalists will earn promotion to the topflight division, to take the places of AS Muhanga and Rwamagana City, which were relegated to the second division.
