Dear editor,

I would like to bring to your attention the fact that there are so many upcoming artists who are not heard of in Rwanda.

Being a culturally rich country, we should vigorously sell our culture to the rest of the world.

Artists should be encouraged, not only by fellow artists but also by the government and different organisations. Rwandan art will then soar to greater heights.

So far, some projects to promote young artists are in progress and recently there was an Art competition for all young artists in Rwanda.

This competition, among others brought together musicians, painting artists, dancers and sculpture makers is an example of what everyone should be doing in order to bring Rwandan art to the rest of the world.

I would like to encourage everyone to support Rwanda’s artists so that our culture can be even stronger.
