Challengers  v   Right Guards 8.30am

Challengers  may be through to the finals of this year’s Utexrwa Cup but they have promised a strong performance against Right Guards today at Utexrwa.

The defending champions know that today’s tie is of little significance however, the club’s in-form captain Srinath Vardhineni expects a top class performance from his lads.

"We know that we are through to the final but we still have to play to our best tomorrow (today). A good result will definitely boost our confidence in the final,” he said.

Challengers head into the tie with ten points after wins over Young Tigers and Indorwa and two bonus points against the same sides.

On the other hand, Right guards are playing for pride after squandering their chance for a final’s berth last month.  The club, fresh from an emphatic win over Indorwa fell cheaply to Kigali Cricket Club.
