Kigali Arts Festival 2nd Edition
This Sunday, all roads lead to Hotel Villa Portofino for the second edition of the Kigali Arts Festival. It will be a great opportunity for you to understand the depth of the Rwandan culture.
The festival will feature a handcraft exhibition, live painting by known art galleries in Kigali including Uburanga, Inema and Ivuka and live music performances.
Entrance fee is Rwf3, 000.
Turn Up Friday
This weekend the Royal Carwash presents ‘Turn Up Friday’; a special mid month event sponsored by Jameson Irish Whisky, featuring various blends of music from DJ Kadir, Ruff Cuts Dj’z, DJ Africa, and DJ Kelly.
Entrance is free and if you buy one Jameson 750ml you get two mixers on the house. Don’t miss out.
Ubumuntu Art Festival
Ubumuntu Art Festival is a four-day annual event giving a platform to different people from across the world to share some of the most pressing issues facing humanity. This time round, the festival will take place at the Kigali Genocide Memorial Amphitheater until Sunday.
It is free of charge.
Karaoke
You can now join Karaoke at Georgie’s in Kacyiru just below PSI offices.
These weekly nights start at 8pm till Midnight or slightly after depending on requests flowing in from Karaoke lovers.
It is entertainment with a difference with a cosmopolitan clientele choosing from a big number of songs ranging from African to European and American selections. You cannot afford to miss this.
Live Music
If you are a fan of live music, this is the right Friday plot for you. Bring your friends and family to Hôtel Des Mille Collines for a delicious night buffet while listening to outdoor music performance from 7pm to 10pm. You will never regret this decision.
