TodayEspoir FC vs Rayon Sports

The long-awaited league match clash between Espoir FC and Rayon Sports is set for today in Rusizi District.

The match was scheduled to be played on June 16 but it was postponed because the U20 national football team had a match against Egypt. Rayon Sports travelled to Rusizi on Tuesday.

On Sunday, Rayon will head to Musanze for their last league tie against Musanze at Nyakinama grounds and later APR FC will be crowned champions after hosting AS Kigali in their last league match at Kigali Regional Stadium.

"We need to win the game against Espoir FC because we have to finish the campaign on a high. We know Espoir FC are a tricky side, but are confident that we can win there,” interim head coach Djuma Masudi said.

Going into the remaining two matches, against Espoir FC and Musanze FC, former champions Rayon Sports are set to finish in second spot ahead of Mukura.APR top the standings with 67 points with one remaining match against AS Kigali due on July 17.

APR FC will next year represent Rwanda in Orange CAF Champions league while Rayon Sports will compete in the Confederation Cup.
