The counter closed at Rwf70, unchanged from Monday. Bank of Kigali pushed 300 shares in one deal worth Rfw84,000. The lender closed at Rwf280, an increase from Rwf279.
This bolstered the Rwanda Share Index that gained 0.25 points to close at 142.43 points, while the All Share Index went up 0.03 points to 130.06 points. The other counters did not transact any business. Bralirwa closed at Rwf170, Equity Bank was at Rwf334, NMG at Rwf1,200, while KCB was unchanged at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets closed at Rfw104.
At the end of the formal trading session, Bank of Kigali had offers of 789,700 shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf289, but investors were willing to acquire 100,000 shares at a lower price of Rwf265.
On the Bralirwa counter, there were offers of 157,400 shares at Rwf170, Crystal Telecom got an offer of 200,000 shares at Rwf70, while the KCB counter received an outstanding offer of 9,700 shares at Rwf340, and Equity Bank had an offer of 150,000 shares at Rwf334.
