APR women volleyball club will be hoping to halt Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) winning streak – that stretches from last season – when both sides meet in today’s playoffs second phase at Circle Sportif de Kigali.
Defending champions RRA will play against Ruhango High School before taking on ST Aloys de Rwamagana and then archrivals APR in second phase matches, from at 1p.m.
"We want to win our remaining matches in the playoffs. Of course, it will be very difficult but we have set ourselves a target that I believe we can achieve,” said APR coach Viateur Sibomana.
RRA will be seeking to continue an unbeaten run and head coach Jean de Dieu Masumbuko believes his side have what it takes to go the whole season unbeaten for a second year in a row.
Meanwhile, the men’s playoffs, action will start on Sunday in Huye, Southern Province.
