MUSANZE — At least 40 senior six students who had formerly dropped out of school in Musanze district, are among the students sitting this year’s ongoing A level national examinations.
The students were enrolled at ACET Imanzi catchment’s school. The school has 50 adult pupils who are attending primary education and 60 students have also completed ordinary level.
According to the school’s director, Shadrack Uwizeyimana, the school facilitates business people, including house wives who had never got a chance to study.
At a party organised to mark the school’s one year anniversary, this week, Uwizeyimana said that the school promotes continuous education for all Rwandans especially adult learners.
The school conducts lessons in the evening and has got four A level sections including accountancy, tourism, secretarial studies and human sciences.
Pupils who enroll in primary study for three years and sit the Primary Leaving Examinations. Meanwhile, the adult students formed an anti genocide ideology club-REALIG (Rassemblement des Eleves d’ACET/IMANZI), which strives to sensitise residents against genocide related vices.
