La Croix du Sud Hospital is a private hospital that provides medical care services. The hospital was started after the end of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis to respond to the urgent need for medical care among the population. It began as a small clinic and in 1998 it became a polyclinic and later in October, 2009 it was awarded Hospital status.

The capacity of the hospital has increased over the years and it now has 102 beds (including emergency beds), 28 Doctors, 63 Nurses, 16 Lab Technicians and 5 Anesthetists.

The vision of the Hospital is to become one of the best health institutions in Rwanda and in the region by strengthening both preventive and curative medical care services.

The mission of the hospital is to offer quality medical care with good service delivery to patients (Customer care) through the use of modern medical technology and professionalism.

Screening of breast cancer

General Screening

Vaccination of children:

(TB, Polio, PENTA, PNEUMOCOCCAL,

ROTAVIRUS, MEASLE, RUBELLA, TETANOS)

Vaccination for adult:

Vaccination of cervical cancer (Cervarix)

Vaccination of Hepatitis B

Vaccination of Tetanos (serum antitetanos and vaccine).
