The artistic impression of stones brings sophistication and a natural feel to the interior view of any house or building. However, in choosing to decorate with stones, one has to be cautious as not all stones and or even flowers really reflect or create beauty in the interior or exterior of a house.

According to the Alyce Mutamuliza, an interior designer and deco specialist at Intisinzi 4 Life Style Company, decorating and designing the interior of the house do not stop at painting even with the most expensive of colors.

"Well arranged cultch and vanished furniture are a great idea when furnishing a room. They become more beautiful and up to trend when appropriate interior stones are added.” she said.

How to design stones inside the house

Mutamuliza says stones can be put in a glass box or glass jar or in any other attractive containers. One can add water and flowers. This depends on the kind of space that one is decorating.

"For the case of the small room, kitchen or corridors, small containers of stone can be placed in the corners of rooms. And for the case of huge commercial buildings one can place the stone pot where there is an open space that allows visibility. Water babble stones type is the best in this case because of the uniqueness of their texture,” she explains.

Mutamuliza adds that decorative stones are widely used in interiors of living room areas, fireplace decorating, staircase spaces and bars. They can also be used in the exterior walls, decorating the doorways, and they make fantastic impressions in restaurants, cafes, pizzerias and similar public facilities.

"To refresh the existing, or add an interesting accent in the room stones are a great alternative. Natural stone are especially welcome in modern interior designs as they visually enhance the space. So if one is willing to change something this is the right idea for them,” she explains.

What makes stones unique?

Whether you are enjoying family games, entertaining guests or simply updating office or home rooms, a stony interior or exterior not only brings an aura of class and sophistication, they are also easy to maintain.

"Since at regular basis they are watered together with the flower the house is kept moist and cool which is partly healthier to our lives,” Mutamuliza explains.

Regarding maintenance of decorative stones, Mutamuliza explains that they can be kept intact by filtering out water around them once in a while. She explains that by replacing old water with new you ensure that the stones don’t become slimy.

Choosing the style and sense for both exterior and the interior of a house is a conscious process and rooms can indeed reflect the personalities of people. Beauty and natural attractiveness are a few of the qualities that stone decorations and other formats of home designing bring to an otherwise dull room.
