The Kigali Convention Centre is indeed a peculiar addition to Kigali’s townscape. It answers my lengthy search about Rwanda’s akarubanda today that The New Times highlighted previously.
As the name suggests, this project will host not only many but also high-profile meetings in the future, starting with the upcoming AU conference. When inserted in the global framework, the Kigali Convention Centre will definitely made headlines the world over.
At the national level, since the bride has just been unveiled to the public, it would be interesting to keenly observe subsequent public opinions. And that’s the entry point for my fieldwork round two.
