Top flight division side, APR FC, Police FC, Rayon Sports and Mukura VS cruised to the 1/8th round of this year’s Peace Cup after winning their respective 1/16th round matches on Sunday.

Reigning champions Police FC walloped second division side Rugende Training Center 6-0 at Mumena turf, while APR FC registered a 2-0 win over United Stars at Kigali Regional Stadium.

Rayon Sports registered the biggest win of the round, hammering second division outfit Miroplast FC 8-0 at Kicukiro Stadium.

Mukura VS edged Vision FC 2-1 at Muhanga Regional Stadium; AS Kigali overcame Vision JN 2-0 while Yves Rwasamanzi’s SC Kiyovu walloped Huye-based Intare FC 7-0 at Mumena ground.

Other teams that qualified to the round of 1/8 include; Isonga FC, Espoir FC, Gicumbi FC, Etincelles FC, Sunrise FC, Bugesera FC and AS Muhanga. The round of 1/8th will be played on Wednesday.
