Defending champions Rwanda Revenue Authority maintained their unbeaten record in the women volleyball league after beating last season’s runners-up, APR 3-1 at the National Paralympics Committee Gymnasium on Sunday.
RRA have won all 12 consecutive matches since the start of the season. They lead the table with 36 points, nine ahead of second-placed APR while St. Aloys are with 21 points.
Christophe Mudahinyuka’s team won the opening set 25-14 but Viateur Sibomana’s team fought back and took the second set 25-15, before the champions showed their supremacy, claiming the third and fourth sets 25-15 and 25-15 respectively.
After 3-2 win over APR on Saturday, Reigning champions UNIK also defeated IPRC-South 3-1 on Sunday.
