REG Vs ASPAC 6pm
Rwanda Energy Group (REG) point guard, Nia Clouden is confident her team will continue with its impressive performance at the FIBA Africa Women Basketball League (AWBL) by winning its last group-stage game to claim the summit of Group B.
The continental tournament has been underway since December 11 in Egypt.

Rwanda’s representatives, REG, have so far won all the three matches they have played so far, making a statement about how competitive they are.
On Thursday, December 14, the team will be back to the court to face off with Benin’s ASPAC.
A victory for REG will ensure that they finish on top of Group B and get the opportunity of drawing an easier opponent for the quarterfinals.
"I am impressed with the way our team played a very good game on Wednesday. Our target is to lead Group B and it is possible if we win against ASPAC,” Clouden said.
The 23-year-old American joined REG in November on a short term contract from the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).

Competition system
The teams that finish in the first four places of Groups A and B, will qualify to the quarter-finals whereas the teams that finish last in their groups will play classification games for ranking purposes.
