RE: "Rwanda tops Africa in Prosperity Index" (The New Times, June 3)

Rwanda’s detractors will never consider this, theirs is to make sure that they say all negative things about Rwanda even when positive things are there to see/witness by everyone.

Lord Malloch-Brown, the former United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, said Rwanda had fared better than wealthier countries by doing much with little.

If a reputable body like Legatum Institute produces such a report, why can’t people, at least for once, acknowledge the truth?

To you, Lord Malloch, thank you for not shying away from saying the truth.
