Senegal will be seeking to qualify for the next 2017Afcon with a game to spare when they meet Burundi on Saturday at Prince Louis Rwagasore Stadium in the capital Bujumbura.

Aliou Cisse’s Senegal side need just a draw to qualify for the biggest tournament in Africa.

The Senegalese will wrap up their qualifying campaign against Namibia in September and go into today’s fixture with a 100 per cent record from the four rounds played so far.

Burundi are in second spot in the group with six points.

"Our aim is to try to qualify this weekend even as we know that we are facing a very difficult opponent in Burundi,” said Cisse, whose side beat Rwanda 2-0 in a buildup match at Kigali Regional Stadium on Saturday.

He added, "Our players are in good shape and have been improving and we hope they will do a good job against Burundi, the game against Rwanda was good and it has helped us to better prepare for Burundi.”

Rwanda, who are second in Group H, take on bottom side Mozambique at Amahoro National Stadium on Saturday.
