Rwanda Junior Wasps are confident that they will get a good result when they face Egypt in the second round of the Africa U-20 Championship qualifiers slated for Sunday at Kigali Regional Stadium in Nyamirambo.

The Junior Wasps started residential training on Sunday, one week before hosting the Egyptian side in the first leg.

Head coach Jean Baptiste Kayiranga, said the players are in high spirits ahead of the game, and they are preparing well.

"We are facing one of the biggest countries in African football, but in football everything is possible. So we will go all the way to win the first leg and see if we can do better in the second leg so that we qualify for the next round,” the coach said yesterday. The second leg will be played in Cairo on the weekend of June 10-12.

Seven teams will qualify for the finals to join hosts Zambia next year from February 26-March 12.
