Once upon a time there was a boy called Bonabana. He was the only child and because of this, his parents did not train and instil good discipline in him.

Bonabana did whatever he wanted because he knew his parents wouldn’t touch him. When he turned sixteen, his friends persuaded him to go to Kenya with them.

They reached Nairobi City and because Bonabana was very stubborn he separated from his friends. Unfortunately, Bonabana got lost in the big city!

He had no food to eat and no place to sleep. As he sat by the road side, a catholic priest stopped his car. The priest took him to the parish and started looking after him.

He was taken to school and he studied until he completed his university education. All this time the priest reversed Bonabana’s neglect, and instilled in him love and discipline that would help him in life in future.

When Bonabana became an adult, he decided to come back to his mother land and look for his parents. He found them and they were very happy to see their now grown-up son.

He helped his parents since they were now old and unable to work for a living. He had two aunties who had two children each. He loved them so much and did not want them to be undisciplined so he taught them to behave well.
Later, because of his experience, Bonabana became the headmaster of a secondary school, and he also worked as the national coordinator for all the street children in his country.

The big lesson

It is always important to obey parents, because if children don’t obey their parents, they experience many problems as a result of indiscipline.
