If  by any chance Barack Obama wins the presidential elections in the United States of America today, he will have made history as the first blackman to sit in the White House.

But whether he wins or not, you should have enough reason to be proud of being an African by now.

Obama was born in August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii, by a Kenyan dad and an American mum. That is why he is called an African-American.

It is not easy for black people to prosper in America but Obama has done it. He is now so popular that some roads have already been named after him, even before his presidential ambitions are yet to be known.
