Sunrise FC striker Samson Babuwa says he is working hard to prove his doubters wrong as he continues his goalscoring form in the Primus National League.
The experienced Nigerian striker netted a brace that helped his side beat Amagaju FC 2-1 at Nyagatare Stadium on Friday, December 8, taking his tally to three goals in his last two games.
The 2019/2020 Rwanda Premier League top scorer maintains that he is proving a point to those who questioned his capabilities as new coach Jackson Mayanja is getting the best out of him in an attempt to bring Sunrise back to the top form.
"The secret to my recent impeccable form is simple, I have to prove my critics wrong," Babuwa told Times Sport.

"We have a good coach who understands football. We all love him and we are ready to die for him. He is getting the best out of me."
The Sunrise FC deputy skipper insists he is not going to stop scoring and urged supporters to expect more goals from him as he pushed to carry the team on his shoulders.
"The fans, and the entire Sunrise team, should expect a lot from me as we are now back on track."
"Now that I'm back, the legacy of Sunrise at 'Golgota' Stadium is back. We will make the fans happy," he added.
Babuwa's two goals against Amagaju lifted Sunrise to 10th on the league table with 16 points. The visit Marines FC at Umuganda Stadium in their last match of the first round of the league.
