RE: "New firm to manage King Faisal Hospital” (The New Times, April 27).

A big thank you Rwandan leaders for this important step. This move goes beyond healthcare; we are saving our hard-earned dollars that have traditionally gone to Indian hospitals, Brussels and even beyond.

The ball is in the hands of private sector to support Government on equivalent support services as housing for accommodating doctors, nurses, patients and their attendants, in the vicinity of King Faisal Hospital.

I challenge the City of Kigali to accelerate this important effort.

Home care services at our hospitals is equally a virgin area to explore in order to decongest hospitals, create jobs for hospital staff and above give a complete package to patients.

We should walk the talk; it is now or never.
