FRATERNE Rubangura recorded another major victory over the weekend as he won the Macmillan Rwanda Open by two shots at Kigali Golf Club.

Rubangura, 26 shot 77 gross to claim the overall winner’s prize, beating stiff challenge from Andrew Nkwandi who returned with a 74 net.

For his heroics, Rubangura walked away with a big trophy courtesy of the Macmillan, a United Kingdom publishing house.

In group two (handicap 10-18); Ariane K edged Richard Kaitani by a shot after returning 75 net while group three (handicap 19-28) was won by Aurthur Gahima who amassed 31 points.

Sheetah claimed 29 points to lift the ladies category while Jean Baptista Hakizimana beat reigning champion Emmanuel Ruterana by six shots to win the professionals’ category.
