RRA vs Ndejje University (1pm)

Rwanda Volleyball Champions, Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) need a win against Ugandan champions Ndejje University Tuesday afternoon to qualify for quarter finals in the ongoing Women's African Club Championship taking place in Tunisia.

RRA is second behind leaders Carthage who have already qualified with nine points while RRA are one point ahead of Mashaal Bejaia before playing Ndejje University this afternoon.

On Sunday hosts Carthage of Tunisia beat Rwanda Revenue Authority 3-0 (25-18, 25-15 and 25-7) in Pool A which forced Jean Luc Ndayikengurukiye’s side to go for the last group match against Ugandan side Ndejje University with one win and one loss.

"We need to win the game and qualify for the quarter finals and we know it’s very possible. We shall give our best performance if we are to reach the quarter finals” Ndayikengurikiye said.

Meanwhile Carthage (Tunisia), Ahly and Shams (both from Egypt) booked their places in the quarter finals of the 2016 Women's African Club Championship on Monday.

Carthage of Tunisia overcame Mechaal Bejaia of Algeria 3-1 (25-16, 17-25, 25-18, 25-19) in a ground breaking encounter in Pool A.

Egypt's Ahly recorded their third win in a row over Bafia (Cameroon) 3-0 (25-17, 25-11, and 25-16). The second quarter final ticket of pool B will be determined between Sfax (Tunisia) and Wilaya Bejaia on today.

FAP of Cameroon hammered Ghana's Police 3-0 (26-24, 25-17, 25-20) in pool C to improve to 1-1 while the losers dropped to 0-2.

Shams of Egypt continued their superior performance as they beat Favourites and 5 time African champions Kenya Prisons 3-1 (25-18, 25-11, 19-25, 25-22) in Pool B.

 In the other encounters, Mashaal Bejaia of Algeria defeated Ndejje University of Uganda 3-2 (25-19, 21-25, 19-25, 25-22 and 15-11) in Pool A while Rwanda Revenue Authority beat Bajaia of Algeria 3-1 (21-25, 19-25, 25-17 and 18-25) the opening match.

7 time champions, Pipeline, trounced 2014 champions GSP of Algeria 3-2 (22-25, 22-25, 25-22, 25-19 and 15-12) in Pool C.
