RE: "Malaria resurgence: What exactly went wrong?” (The New Times, April 25).

The problem is a dysfunctional ministry. If it collects and analyses data, how come it noted the increase in 2012 and 2013 and yet never acted to the point that the numbers tripled.

It is also sad that all of your interviewees see the problem with the peasant, not the Health ministry itself where most of the blame should lay.

And, where did you mention the case of non-treated, ineffective mosquito nets which were procured by the same ministry in 2014 and distributed to the people?
