All the three local counters at the bourse were active yesterday but few equities changed hands, while the bonds market was quiet, according to the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report for Friday, writes Times Reporter.
The Bralirwa counter closed at Rwf174, unchanged from Thursday’s close. The beverages firm recorded a total turnover of Rwf2.1 million from 12,300 shares traded in three deals during yesterday’s session.
Crystal Telecom recorded a total turnover of Rwf180,000 from 2,000 shares traded in one deal. It was also stable at Rwf90, and so was the Bank of Kigali counter that closed at Rwf280. The bank raked in a total turnover of Rwf28,000 from 100 shares traded in one deal.
All the cross-listed counters were quiet. Equity Bank closed at Rwf334, NMG was at Rwf1,200, while the KCB counter closed at Rwf330, and Uchumi Supermarkets at Rwf104.
Meanwhile, the RSE Share Index and the All Share Index remained unchanged, and as they both closed at 145.98 and 130.50 points, respectively.
Bank of Kigali received outstanding offers of 130,100 shares yesterday, ranging from Rwf280-Rwf290, and an outstanding bid for 72,200 shares at Rwf260. On the Bralirwa counter, there was an outstanding offer of 6,000 shares at Rwf174 and no bids, while Crystal Telecom got offers of 169,800 shares at between Rwf92 and Rwf98 and a bid for 600 shares at Rwf90.
On the bond market, there were outstanding bids for Rwf51.1 million worth of bonds at between Rwf100 and Rwf104 and an outstanding offer of 50 million at Rwf105.
