The players released include; Hussein Sibomana; Jean Bosco Harorimana, Faraj Ndongozi, Pierrot Habimana, Abedi Biramahire, Ephrem Kabayiza and Alex Makoya.

"It’s true we have released them and the club wishes them all the best wherever they will go. We have been assessing each player and those released were not performing to the club’s expectations,” Bizimungu said.

He added, "After looking at the performance of the team in the first half of the season, we made an evaluation of the squad and the players we thought don’t fit in the team were allowed to leave, but we have added three players, who I believe can help us to continue to improve in the league.”

The Eastern Province-based side is in eighth position in the 16-team league table standing with 21 points after 15 games, having won five, drawn six and lost four games.

Las year’s second division league champions have signed Rayon Sports forward Bernard Uwayezu, Shaban Masengesho from Mukura Victory Sports, and Soloum Gasangwa from Etincelles, all on one-year contract.
