According to the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report for Thursday, the brewer closed at Rwf174, up from Rwf173 on Wednesday. It recorded a total turnover of Rwf6.2 million from 35,500 shares traded in two deals during yesterday’s trading session.
Crystal Telecom, the other active counter was unchanged at Rwf90. The firm realised a total turnover of Rwf1.8 million from 20,000 shares traded in two deals yesterday, the report indicates. Crystal Telecom announced it would pay shareholders over Rwf2.2 billion special dividend on May 9.
The shareholders register will close April 27. This will be the second time the firm that listed on the bourse will be giving shareholders a special dividend. Crystal Telecom earned about Rwf1.2 billlion for the period ended December 2015, the firm’s March 30 statement shows.
